Girls taking the order where attentive and helpful. Immediately offering me a free cup for water while I waited for the burgers. Burgers where amazing, fresh and delicious!! I got the Meatless Beast (potato bun, vegan patty, cheddar, mooyah sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and fried onions) and got the A-wonderful for my boss (potato bun, double patty, pepper Jack, A-1 sauce, lettuce, grilled onions and bacon) both burgers delicious for sure. “ So your favorite Yelp correspondent was tooling around the Upland area when, struck by hunger pangs, I went looking for the Fatburger that USED TO grace Mountain Ave in Montclair. As it turns out the Montclair Farburger apparently went the way of the pager...i.e., deader than a door nail. But Fatburger's loss turned out to be Mooyah's gain. I ordered their $10.99 Classic Cheeseburger Combo. Mooyah gets STELLAR reviews for the caliber of their hamburger patties!! Exquisitely seared, toasted edged Angus beef patties the color of coffee pair nicely with soft but toasted buns baked in house, gooey American cheese, fresh leaved lettuce, snappy tomato and special sauce to create one of the better "fast food" burgers I've ever sampled. The fries are slivered from whole potato, skins intact, but my batch arrived a wee bit over-salted. The shakes are very good- you can choose from a half dozen flavors including vanilla, Hershey's chocolate, chocolate chip, cookie butter and more. Pro Tip- Join Mooyah's app and you'll be rewarded with a valuable coupon redeemable for a free burger on your next visit. Smile. The restaurant was clean and well stocked. Restrooms was decently clean but the water pressure oozes out as if they're paying for it by the drop!! My bill was only $11.84 for the cheeseburger, fries and fountain drink combo...then another $6.56 for the post-meal shake. I suspect you'll concur with my judgment- The first price is -in May 2024 what with $20/hr minimum wages- a relative steal...but the latter price is rather steep. ”
